On the day of love, we think of ideas to spoil our man with gifts and surprises and may be something that has to do with getting busy. Every couple has so much of pressure to make it the best day and of course a memorable one. But sometimes even our best of intentions do not work out well. Sometimes couple ends up making things messy when they are trying to make things perfect. You can deal with flowers and chocolates and wine or if you wish to make it even more special, you can go for the couple massage. But sometimes people end up getting all wrong. 1. Trying to cook a complicated meal

Sometimes things are not as simple as they look and we end up taking them in that façade. And sometimes we take it as a fun challenge. You might want to try something new and cook your man’s favorite dish which is a little more complex than what it appears, and then to make things perfect, you just end up with a disastrous recipe in hand.

2. Trying to be too romantic

You may decide to surprise your man with a couple massages and later on the day gets to know that your man hates massage. This turns up super embarrassing and you have no idea what to do now. Learn the lesson from this, and always look for the clues as to what your partner loves and does not love. Ask him questions to know about his interest, so that you can plan the best romantic gift for him.

3. So many candles

Starting a fire is no good start or end to this day. It is too dangerous, plus you will have to deal with smoke, stress and cleaning up the fire damage. Candles are great to set a romantic scene, but be in terms with how many are burning and do not leave any candle unattended. Keep the candles to a count of few.

4. Rushing things

This could be the case that your man is touching you all over and you are just inching away from him. It does not mean that you do not want to participate, you totally want to. But he is rushing foreplay which is just not a great idea for you. You want to enjoy the intimacy and connection a bit longer. You need to tell him to slow things down without being rude or embarrassing him. Communicate to eradicate the misunderstanding.

5. Not leading up things

There are chances that you both want to get frisky but no one is making the first move. It could be that your relationship is new or that the things are not going too well between you two. If you both expect that the other one should start with things, the night is going into vain. Communicate so that nothing ruins the air of romance between you two.

If you are the one who loves dressing up but your man is t-shirt and jeans kind of person, it can create friction and alter the romantic mood. It is better you talk about the dress code in advance. Discuss it in a playful way so that you both do not end up with a riff. Compromise and look your way out.

9. Buying the wrong gift

Imagine your boyfriend gifts you something that you just dislike and you say it to him and then get to know that he took the time to decide on the right gift that matches your personality. This is when you have to go with a major damage control and apologizes. This is enough to throw cold water on your romance and you may end up spending the night dealing with the issue in hand.

10. Sharing details with BFF

Your boyfriend will never like the idea of you sharing every detail with your BFF unless he too shares it with his BFF. Before spilling the secrets it is better that you stay careful. Even if your man is cool sharing details, do not open up too much. This can disturb your intimacy in the bedroom and emotional connection.

11. Call from parents

You forgot to tell your parents not to call you, or you did not give them an apt excuse not to call you and there you are with your boyfriend in your peak moment and then your phone rings and it is the call from your parents. This turns things into super embarrassing. It is always better to turn your phone off or tell your parents you will be busy so that they do not call up.

You buy your guy a gift but he thought that you were not getting each other presents and he did not!! There are chances that your man may ask you to come and have a drink, but it may be strange for you because you do not know them well, but are still moving up with him. if you are not sure, do not pressurizes yourself to perform. Communicate what you want instead of assuming things.

14. Ask if your date has pet allergies

It is important to ask if your date is allergic to pets. If you are a pet owner and he is allergic to them, then it could be one serious issue. They might be scared of them, or do not like them. You both will have to look for a compromise.

15. Forgetting to buy flowers and chocolates

Most women LOVE to get flowers and chocolates. If you have not told him that you are allergic to these, he should make efforts to buy you these. This is enough to make you feel touched. But you will never like if your man buys you cheap chocolate bars, or pluck a flower from park to give you.
