8 Ways Tooth Brush Is Your Fashion Savior… Yes You Heard That Right!
By- Shreya Sharma
We know that toothbrush can lead us to pearl white teeth, but do you know it has some other uses as well. Your toothbrush is your powerhouse, that you always under-estimated. They are the best multipurpose tool you can have. It can work not only on your teeth but also on your face and hair. Here are 8 ways toothbrush is your fashion savior!!
- Exfoliate flaky lips
If your lips are chapped and flaky, apply Vaseline or petroleum jelly to your toothbrush and then exfoliate your lips gently. It will take off the dead cells and moisturize your lips intensely. You can also use some fine sugar or baby oil to exfoliate your lips and get baby soft lips.
- De-clump the lashes
We all have faced it while applying mascara that some extra mascara gets swiped on our lashes, and removing that excessive mascara is one big task. Pick a new toothbrush and run it through the lashes, starting from the root and moving towards the tip. This way, easily the excess mascara is removed from your eye lashes, de-clumping them. Do not use any old brush here as it may cause infection or irritation in your eyes.
- Control the unruly eyebrows
Eyebrows play an important role in structuring our face. We get them in shape but barely pay attention to them while getting ready for a party, leaving them unruly and disarray. Apply some lip balm or hair spray on a tooth brush and brush it over your eye brows to give them a managed and polished look. It will give your eyebrows some shape and a sophisticated vibe to you.
- Tame the flyways
Flyways make any hairstyle look odd and they are irritating to handle. Take a tooth brush and spray some hairspray on it and rub it over the loose strands. As the bristles are too closely placed, it lends an extremely tidy look to your hairstyle. You can run the same brush on the baby hair present in the forehead and nape area.
- Scrub away the blackheads
Use a toothbrush to remove blackheads as it exfoliates the skin gently to unclog all pores and remove the blackheads. Take the blackhead remover formula on the head of the baby brush or use the mixture of baking soda and toothpaste on your toothbrush and gently apply and scrub it on the skin with a toothbrush. Wash off and see the sans blackhead skin.
- Backcomb and tease the hair
We love to add volume to our thin and flat hair by teasing and backcombing them. Now, instead of using your hair comb, use a toothbrush to tease the hair at the crown area to give your hair some instant volume.
- Highlight your hair
If you use hair chalk or little color to give your hair a dramatic look, this is for you. If you are using a liquid hair chalk, then the job is quite messy to get done with. Dip the hair brush in that liquid and brush the strands that you want to be colored. You can even apply dry shampoo using the toothbrush.
- Textured braid
To get the textured braid look, gently brush the bristles of the toothbrush in the upward motion over your simple braided hairstyle. The roughened up textured finish that you would get would definitely amp up your hairstyle.
